SWMBO had the i6 over with the grand children, as she was duty officer today. Got a call from her saying she had gone to move it to a better parking spot, put the key fob in and ... nothing. Couldn't get the fob out and nothing was working.

Well worth checking at the same time as your engine bay level checks. DAVE.

Started receiving the pile of bits I'm going to be fitting over the Christmas break. My "cheap" Freelander 2 is already eating into the money I got selling my FL1

Just done 500 miles from Devon to Scottish Borders, 3-up with car stuffed full of gear. Not much traffic, cruise set at (or near enough to not worry too much..) the legal limits and not being too gentle, 38mpg - very happy. ~No oil used, levels all good at start and end. Cannot believe how good it is as a cruiser as well as its other duties. Feel so much more relaxed at the end of it than when the same journey was done in a mk3 CRV or our old X1 23d. Loving our 2011 SD4 automatic and reading of what everyone else has done with their FL2 today! |

Mate's garage is closed until New Year, so met him up there to give him a hand getting the engine out of his R32 and in turn borrow some time on his ramps for the Freelander.
