I didn't bother with the spring clips when I first fitted my mudguards and the rubber split around the screw heads.

Fitted them on second attempt and no problems.

Just installed the mud flaps on my MY13. I did not have to do any cutting as the areas needed to be cut out were already moulded into the paneling. Easy!

I did have to drill 2 holes on each side. Also had to get a few more screws as the screws supplied were sort of ok but the washers were far too small and were cutting into the mud flaps, which would eventually pull though, especially underneath, bottom fixing, front left mud flap was the worst. So it was more of an issue with the washers.

Overall it all went very well. The mud flaps I used were the copies, but the actual mud flap seems to be of reasonable quality. Where the oval stamp is marked in the mould, the actual LR logo is missing & year of manufacture is also not stamped in the graph.

Will have to get packing washer about 5 mm thick for the top screw on each of the rear mud flaps. Overall a lot less daunting than the video shows.

P.S. Thanks for the videos.

The top screw is too long I suggest cutting it or using a shorter one
as it touches the wing and rubs the paint off
