I suggest you pop off the black surround/cover (behind the mirror) and have a look on yours to be sure you have the same. No software update needed for it to work perfectly on mine - just pug 'n' play   | ||

 Close lol Fitted one to my old gs and my 2012 gs ! All you have to do is - take off the 2 cliped bits of plastic - twist the mirror gently anti clockwise a quater of a turn - wire is already sitting in place so plug in the new one and stare re-assembly Works a treat   Only slight thing to mention is a relay is supposed to make sure it doesnt dim when you put in reverse but i havent seen this as an issue     | ||

 That's better, stick to pictures, you can't spell those incorrectly     Even with the factory tints, I still drop the mirror, might keep an eye out for an auto dimming one. | ||
