Whatever bulb you use the big problem for the boot light is that it's in the wrong friggin' place. Its no bloody use over at one side it needs to be in the roof pointing down, sorry LR you really get -10 points for a crap piece of design.

I regularly travel with my boot space full or nearly full, unless you leave space around the nearside where the light is it's next to no use at all however bright the bulb is !!!!

i think it could do with one each side and one or two in the in the roof, you can never have too much light in the boot.

Just don't have a on/off switch in the roof mounted one, my last car kept getting turned on when putting stuff in the boot through the tailgate glass door. When you get in at night and all the light dimmed appart from that one, it was a PITA Mad Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

If you meant 'barn' your to late someone (kids?) did burn my barn about 2 years ago along with about 1000 tonnes of straw..luckily the barn was a long way from any houses/other buildings. The same kids(?) seem to be on a firestarting rush as another two farmers barns and two garden sheds have burnt since. all within two miles Evil or Very Mad At work

Just spoke to the chap at Ultraleds. They got a new shipment of U36W6 in but they were made in the wrong colour so he's had to send them back. He's going to let me know when he gets the correct colour back in stock.

best thing Thumbs Up I think the cool blue are the most suited, esp for me as I have the blue seat panels.
I didn't change the front light as I think it would be too bright if used whilst driving but the boot and rear lights are great with LEDs At work

Always listen to CG 'cool blue are what you need'

I'd say your ebay ones should fit? after all the only hang on tinny holders that should give a little, as yours are a couple of mm too long At work

Just ordered my second batch of LED's. The Original ref has gone off the Ultra LEDs web site but if you google the ref you get directed to U42CW6 (264) 42mm Cool White Dome Light (6 Wide Angle Leds). I've ordered these and they arrived today, exactly the same as the old ref of U36W6 and a bit cheaper.
