As far as I can see this "paid for" version is identical to the freebie on here and doesnt cover things on later 2014 cars like the EPB. The main part is dated 2011. Jules

I'm curious as to what FL2 service manuals are in existence that can be bought.

I have a 2010 (MY 2011) HSE. I have downloaded everything I can find, but they always seem to be the same document without an index or search facilities. Just the same big (and very useful TBH!) series of instructions, following the safety/service/jacking warnings at the start.

I used to have a brilliant thick green and white service manual (about the size of an old telephone directory), which was well indexed and illustrated, for my P38 Range Rover and would love the equivalent for the FL2, but I haven't found one yet. In fairness to Haynes, their manual is quite decent, if you don't mind photographs that look like they were taken on glass plates.

As others have said, most of the ones for sale seem to be the same thing in a slightly different package.
Anyone discovered the Holy Grail of manuals in their travels? Life is an uphill struggle. Only the gradient varies.

This is about the nearest you can get IMO.

The free JLR workshop manual is indexed and searchable, covers 99% of stuff and is far better than Haynes. Jules

Just downloaded a new (to me) copy of the free JLR manual and this one does indeed have the index in the form of PDF bookmarks. My previous copy didn't have this for whatever reason and I thought they were all the same.

I suffer from a need to try to understand how everything works (had this all my life!), so this will be a regular read for me! Cheers Jules. Life is an uphill struggle. Only the gradient varies.

yes, it is a good read - the pics are good too.

Ive done all my DIY on the FL2 from it, plus a few youtube videos, and help from this forum ofcourse. Jules
