FL2 has a big electric heating element sitting just under the interior heater matrix. This comes on, the heat wafts up into the matrix, and helps heat up the cabin quicker

Not saying it's a lie, but in general, there is a fuel economy saving when the car has been re-mapped.
However, as I said before, a remap should never be purchased for fuel economy improvements.

FWIW, remaps should NEVER be bought/sold on the promise of improved fuel economy.
