Yeah, I would say that Taz meant bottom left ie: nearer to the glovebox. That way it'll get covered up with the plastic tray if you decide to take the GPS out.

You can drill a tiny hole, just big enough for the cable and/or plug, down in the bottom right hand corner of the cubby, best do it by hand so you dont damage anything behind, its only thin plastic so ... |

You are right UKDEN. The instructions listed above are for a Defender etc. The FL2 has no drag link.

I've also read that adjustments can be made to the drag link for minor steering wheel adjustments.
I am not sure that the FL2 has a drag link!

Had exactly that problem on mine when I bought it last December. Riders (formerly Carrs) of Truro sorted it out pdq without charge - don't know what they did but it's been fine ever since.

This should have been done when they did the tracking. Normally the steering wheel should be centred first (they use a bracket that jams between the steering wheel and the seat to hold it in position) ... |

This is easily sorted.
The track rods need adjusting by the same amount on each side of the car (but in opposite directions).
This will retain the correct tracking, but will alter the dead ahead ... |
