Right tools for the job, don't use a socket, the torx sockets aren't that expensive, as said 3/8" should be fine, breaker bar first them ratchet.

Trucks are limited to a maximum 56mph, (by construction and use regs,) but some trucks are limited between 50/53mph for economy/other reasons.
