Thanks Jules. Thats my thinking, because it is quite noisy. I believe that will just put me in @ wheel drive. As its the summer ! Hopefully, I won't need 4wd until the winter comes.

Haldex noise.
I have removed the fuse from the boot area. The graunchy noise goes away.
Am I best to remove the fuse if I want to continue using, until I get a chance to sort it ?

I'm the guy from the other thread. I was lucky my timing had not jumped, but when I set it back up, I was 180degrees out because I hadn't used the pins.

| I've had the pipe split. LR told me it was the turbo....wanted £3500 many years ago to sort it. The pipe was £58 quid from memory. So for your £7, you have had a right result. |

| The starter motor bits are easy peasy to fit. Getting to the Three bolts to get the starter motor off are a pain, as they are behind the wiring loom which does not have a great deal of play. |
