presumably it is a special rechargeable button cell charged by induction when in the vehicle slot.
Is this the case!? Dealer never mentioned anything to me about the fob needing to be charged!?

Totally agree with the above, although I'm learning, very short shifts 1 to 2 have really helped, slightly longer into 3 with downshift throttle blips, doesn't make junction exits very rapid though!
