Would the two part fibreglass kits be of any benefit? Just wondering what kind of stress would be on the glue from the split? Whether filling, reforming the edge with a small patch kit would be better ...

I've always liked the look of just the handle versions (if that makes sense) on the plinth. Never too sure whether the eBay ones are the right scale or in fact a well made replica or not!

Land Rover swapped mine front to back on a service whilst replacing the alloys, it was noticeably unstable to drive, quite sensitive.......just had 4 new ones and it is back to being the firm, stable ...

I had all four replaced Ed, same thing, but on the inners where your wheel weights would go, found it on one, so thought id check them all, bobs your uncle 4 new wheels under warranty.

There is a company called 'paints4u' I think, who do the actual proper kit including application spears, levelling solution and some wet and dry. Plus comes with all the instructions.

I get the same smell on mine Nut, been underneath it, torch out, the lot! Never found anything so I put it down to the DPF as its not all the time and no pattern to it!
