I have 30 cm of snow surrounding my FL2 at the moment;
30 cm of snow is no match for a FL2 provided you have proper winter tyres.

Recommended: 16".
Acceptable: 17"
Not recommendable: 18" & 19".

So our options appear to be: Fit winter tyres to the 19" diamonds, or buy another set of alloys or steels and fit them winter tyres.

-14C this morning, -the car looked like an ice-cube... -Started in two seconds - no problem.
The car is soon 3 years old. I hope I dont have to expect starting troubles soon....

I have started in -25C several times. But it may take a while before the engine turns on. The preheating period may take up to 30 seconds, -maybe more if it is very cold.
