In my experience, weather and road conditions make more of a difference to efficiency than the AC, so leaving it on AUTO mode is best. |

The AC on our EV uses between 150 and 500 Watts of power depending on AC load, so would be similar for an ICE vehicle too.

Its just a dust cap like a tyre valve. Nothing to worry about.
Providing no dirt settled in the valve aperture while the cap was off, which gets pushed into the AC system next pressure check. |

I used JLR SDD to remove those things, except auto locking after getting out, as that wasn't active on mine. |

There's a weep hole between the diff and haldex seal. It's a special labyrinth seal with a void between the 2 components, which has a weep hole for leak identification.  |
