TBH, I do not think 100k+ on a FL2 is anything to be worried about if it has had regular oil changes.
The build quality is very good and engines are strong.

The DPF info is contained in the VIN (chassis number)

On older cars look for obvious signs of abuse, clocking, excessive wear on seats, pedals steering wheel, uneven tyre wear or brand new tyres  .
This applies to all cars not just FL's.

It seems the battery's do eventually wear out and LR recommend a new fob.

I just stuck my new filter in a bucket of fuel, until bubbles stopped.
Total filter change about 23.5 minutes from start to completion 
I live in a no fuss enviroment.

Does sound like a fuel issue, that has become worst.
As suggested fuel pressure, fuel pump would be my 1st guess.
Hopefully recovery will diagnose an easy fix fault.

Renewed the Timing belt inc Pulleys, Water Pump and Auxiliary belt. (102k)
The pump was quite worn (although I never suspected)
Belt was also showing some wear.
