Continues to flash. Have you heard of problems with keys losing the coding after battery's being low? It was never fully depleted but has been on the low side? |

Partially discharged battery or earth straps corroded? Worth a check, connect a jump lead from around the starter housing and the other end to the body/chassis.

Yes there is a pulse for a few seconds not long at all. I haven't yet put a supply to pin 71 and listened for the relay working but will get better n the case tomorrow. Will send feed to the steering ... |

Is that just after the engine has been running or with the engine running if so I'd leave it overnight and check the voltage in a he morning, as that may just be surface charge.

The steering lock warning and the lock is stuck.
I have power down the signal wire from the ICU, to the BCU Pin 71 and no power out of Pin 27 going to the steering column lock.

Mines was rattling a couple of months ago. Found that it was the heat shield above the rear silencer.
Worth a check, hope this helps |

Quick update the timing had jumps a tooth or so. Obviously if the crank and cam sensors don't agree the PCM shuts down the injectors to prevent potential damage.
