Can't blame Mrs D for trying to make some cash - how much do you think the BBC pays his estate for all those repeats they put out? Answer - nothing at all. That's why they repeat them continuously, ...

I remain to be convinced that this was deliberate action by the co-pilot. There is only circumstantial evidence that he deliberately locked the door and set the plane to descend. There are other sce ...

I'm amazed that the BBC continues to call Top Gear a "factual programme". All those staged races, comedy caravan crashes, joke news about cars with foreign names ..... is that what passes f ...

In the good old days, when you bought a new car you had to "run in" the engine and then change the oil - usually after 1,000 - 2,000 miles. I can't understand why this is no longer necessar ...

I measured the existing blade and it was 13", compared with the Clio blade at 12", so I thought I would try and find one a bit bigger than that. Couldn't find a 13" one, so eventually ...

Same with ours, but we do lots of very short trips so (a) the engine rarely reaches full temperature and (b) the battery is rarely fully charged (in fact I have to top it up with a charger once a fort ...

Agreed - Quentin Wilson is trying to model himself on Jeremy CLarkson, even to the extent of slagging off TR7's and their owners for comic effect. I didn't find it funny in the slightest. As for Jod ...

Yes, that's the one I fitted to my MY2010 last June. No issues disconnecting old one and connecting new one, and I didn't have to reset anything.

Sorry to report that the other front disc proved equally difficult to remove. An hour of bashing got it off in the end.

I have to say it was worth the effort. The old discs were severely corroded ...

It wasn't rusted to the hub, in fact it was reasonably clean behind, it just seemed to be sticking on the studs - as if the holes in the disc were out of alignment. I had to bash it off millimetre by ...

I'm trying to replace my front discs and pads, but can't shift the torx screw that holds the disc in place.

My T50 jumps out and my T55 seems way too big.

Any suggestions?
