It was a bit of a faf, the worst part was the amount of effort needed to pull the rear lights out, I was convinced I was going to break something!

You're right ad210358, it was a Witter one, not a Thule. We chose this one as it is a "Removable Flange" type so you can fit a bike rake to it.
