@Nodge68 Thank you for the offer.

The service manual only tells, that the ECU uses a "mathematical model" to calculate the alternator voltage. And from my observations it seems there is m ...

Yes, I know. It seems, that it's (only?) ambient temperature related, because voltage doesn't change with engine temperature. And there is no battery temperature sensor AFAIK.

Last battery lasted 7 ...

Does anyone have a chart or list of "alternator voltage vs temperature" of the old system without BMS?

Here in Austria we have 90°F / 32°C at the moment and the alternator ...

@IanMetro

Correct for jacking only one wheel at a time. If jacking both wheels of the axle, they surely spin free, but in opposite directions because of the differential.

It depends, how much mechanical tension the haldex have. With one wheel in the air, the propshaft has to turn also. So the haldex has to separate the rear axle completly.
Sadly, I can't remember how ...

Yes, if both front wheels are in the air, they should turn in opposite directions. Even in “P”. Maybe to check the splines you could lift the rear of the car with front wheels on the ground and tr ...

Maybe it was just a "live data" from the position feedback of the actuator?

I mixed up the terms. What i'm locking for is "Aktive test". I hoped some of the SDD folks can answer ...

Thank you for the answer. My scanner can do a "new xy installed" reset on most components. But what i mean is driving the actuators open / closed on demand.

Hi folks,

can the jlr SDD or some other scanner can do a "live test" on the PCM, like move the EGR valve or Turbo actuator? My Foxwell scanner can't do that, and i'm wondering if it's sca ...

Hi folks,
after fitting a new DPF/cleaned DPF, you should perform a "New DPF fitted" routine to the PCM. My Foxwell OBD scanner can do that.

But what does it reset exactly? Is it just th ...
