| Sorry, this may not be much use to you but I bought the witter flange detachable towbar and it works fine with this carrier. |

You don't have to increase them for towing...I'm sure it says it in the handbook.
I certainly never do and it makes life so much easier. |

K455 is for clamp fit. K631 is for bolt fit to the rail points and intended for a more permanent fit. Both will take either the flush bar or through bar. (I have the flush)
