Though the D4 kit requires you to hack away at the grille, something I wasn't all too keen on doing because if I wanted to return to normal, with the FL2 it would mean a whole new front end!  |

The bracket is from Lazer, pre drilled holes, self tapping screws and a little silicone adhesive for good measure.

| Correct, it's taking power straight from the battery, with a relay from the main beam telling it to 'switch on'. |

I would aesthetically prefer it a few inches further back, though the spoiler gets in the way of the canopy poles.

No issues with them, they have been fine for a few long distance trips I've done so far.
Though I fitted them almost an hour after purchasing it, so have nothing to compare to!  |
