Presumably they are supplying a coupler with the PTU also, as this will invariably want changing too.
Otherwise more or less the procedure is as you describe- gearbox stays put.

Line the crank up on the marker and see if the cams are on the marks? Could easily be teeth missing you aren't seeing. |

To be clear here - has the Cambelt actually been inspected?? Strained hair drier cranking sound is 100% no compression i.e. cams out of sync with rest of engine! |

EGR - no. It will be spluttering and smoking black but would rev alittle.
No response and a low idle is the software issue.
Put auto into N , turn a/c off and see if idle raises up to normal 8 ... |

2008 - smoother idle and low end running- tip in response better and it boosts sooner from standatill ( auto ) plus i dont want the intake filling with carbon |

Did the trans oil in my 2007 FL2 at 105k. Definitely had never been changed- it was very dark brown!
Drained & refilled 3 times and now going to run it 1000miles & change again.

Pierberg is the OE fitment for the throttle body, and £205 is pretty good if its a genuine pierberg unit. £295 at dealer.
