That’s what I’d call low mileage.

I had my old HSE Lux ones powder coated in a silver finish, getting rid of the diamond cut - much better.
I had a Metropolis after that with gloss black wheels - even better again. |

The factory fit xenon pre 2012 facelift were only HID on the Dip beam. Main beam was still a filament bulb.

Its much easier to just cut the two wires coming from the switch, and join on the new switch.
Polarity doesn't matter, as it's only a circuit closed by the switch.
