Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Tambora Flame
blown speaker Alpine Ice

The problems won't end.....now it seems my front left speaker is blown on my Alpine Ice system.
There is sound there, but a lot of scratching and distortion.
Anyone else experienced this?

Oh and the "fixed" park sensors are f..ked again! Sweet! FL2, TD4 HSE

England 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Stornoway Grey

Anyone else had this problem? I've noticed this very same problem with my MY11 GS. It's a bit intermittent in that it happened a couple of times last week where it was awful for over an hour then seemed to clear. It's been ok until this afternoon and its awful again. It was fine this morning, and then 3 housrs later I get in the car and straight away you can hear the left front channel distorting.

Its actually more noticable on talk radio stations so it's not like the bass of music is causing it. For a free country, it does seem pretty expensive these days.

Damn thing was at it again this morning. Popped back home and was inside for no more than 10 mins. I thought I'd make sure I'm not imagining things so my wife came outside to listen and sure enough it was fine.

I am really not looking forward to trying to get this sorted Confused For a free country, it does seem pretty expensive these days.
