HDC and other fault messages at start up in cold weath FIXED

I suffered the above for 2.5 years and finally cured by fitting an extra earth cable from the negative post of the battery to the starter motor securing bolt !
Cranking in cold weather used to cause loads of messages from "HDC" to "engine reduced power" ABS etc etc and windows used to loose their one touch and all sorts of issues including very slow cranking in cold weather.
Quite often my wipers used to do one sweep on ghitting the start button as well , damaging the mechansim in the frosty weather for which landrover refused to replace under warranty ! ( act of god ) nice one L/R wont ever forget that one !
The earth cable is 2mtrs of Starter cable with soldered brass eyelets !
It has transformed the whole car including the way the auto box works ! which is great
Its a really bad design as the earth from the battery goes to the body first ! voltage drop just waiting to happen.
I have photos of the scope readings and the xcable fitted just dont know how to post ?
