HEEELP!!!!
I bought a genuine 2009/10 sat nav disc, put it in the hole and said it needed a software update and kept turning itself on and off and said it could take 15mins. Left it for an hour or so and was still doing the same thing. Put the old disc back in and the navigation button (or whatever you call the area) is still grey.

Any ideas ???

Its a genuine disc set bought on ebay 2007 HSE, Auto, silver...gone but never forgotten.

I just updated mine..... it's kind of bizarre but it seemingly needs to be done with the engine running!

Just put the new disc in and go for a drive

It works!!!, fired up after 2/3 hours of car running....thank god. Thanks for the ideas chaps seems like patience is the key to updating them. 2007 HSE, Auto, silver...gone but never forgotten.
