Doing stuff without starting the engine?

Am I missing something? I can't open the sunroof or a window without starting the engine up. That really can't be right. Freelander 2 SD4 HSE - Ipanema Sand - MD co-pilot - Springer Spaniel in boot - Swift Challenger on the back!

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

You can open and close windows without the ignition being turned on, but unfortunatly not the sunroof

All explained in the Owners Handbook 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

I'm no Luddite - just think that tech should be intuitive!

Actually, when I thought about it long enough I worked the solution out for myself - and without RTFM! Freelander 2 SD4 HSE - Ipanema Sand - MD co-pilot - Springer Spaniel in boot - Swift Challenger on the back!
