Just learnt that LR MY2012 (all models) will included the following new blacks:

This is in recognition of the substantial 20,000 RRS and 110 Defender (special equipment) order placed by the Liberation Council for their elite rapid response defence units following this week's very poor field trials of existing Toyota and Nissan pick-ups. There's no beige in Ipanema Sand. If your colour vision is that out-of-spec then you'll be disappointed by Firenza Red!

I will definitely not have a black vehicle ever again.
2007 I bought a black Honda CRV. Steering faults from new never drove nicely.
2008 FL2 in Silver, never a problem in 30000mls.
2010 FL2 in Black vibration from new never cured even after many attempts.
2010 New SD4 in Silver (partly thanks to LR Customer Relations) so far brilliant.

So NO MORE BLACK CARS for me. All FL2's (3) Gone
