Anybody use the Land Rover custom fit car cover? Or any cover for that matter? I was thinking of getting one to cover my LR2 in an outdoor parking space I plan to rent. Living in NYC I have no garage myself, and I'd like to protect the finish from the elements as much as possible. Problems I see though are:

1. It's probably a pain putting it on and off on a regular basis, and
2. I wouldn't have any place to store it after taking it off the car- it would take up too much trunk/boot space.

Any thoughts/experiences would be much appreciated.

Unless your going to wash and dry the car prior to putting it on, I would stay away

The small dust and dirt particles on the paintwork will dull the paintwork or even scratch it when the cover blows in the wind.

My cars outside all the time and nothing apart from a wash now and again is required.

Unless the element your referring to are car thieves, and by them having to remove the cover would put them off.
