England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Zermatt Silver
Pollen Filter

Hello All,

I have spent quite a few hours trawling the topics so I now feel I know my FL2 much better now - the reves dip when idling then return to normal, just like everybody else's, so its no real problem. I know which oil to buy and which headlamps to upgrade to, I know which tyres to buy. What a font of knowledge this place is.

What I don't know and can't find in the listings and would love for one of you guys to tell me is how to change a pollen filter. I like to change mine inbetween services, especially before the hay fever season. I also like to do it myself then I know it has been done - even if it does look like new!

Any help appreciated.
Cheers freetwothink

I dont know without looking but usually they are behind the glove box and will have a little cover that you remove, slide out the old one and then slide in the new one (making sure it is the right way round) and bobs your auntie brother Thumbs Up

BTW I'm fully prepared to get shouted down by the people who really know what they are talking about Shocked Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints

open glove box, undo the hangers then lift it of its hinge, glove box is infront of centre console down at foot level. take good notice of the lid before opening as its a bit tricky to get back on, esp if you forget which way round it should be At work
