You do have to wonder why.....I must be too old to 'get it' Must be the target demographic who think clever clay is better than real pictures and facts, I hope they are right or thats a large chunk of their marketing budget in the pan..... Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
Gone - A great 57 Plate, Auto SE, Bought Feb 2009, Roof Rails and Mudflaps added on purchase. Blue colour, anything but drug dealer black.....

I found the advert very "busy". Too much going on at the same time. Left me totally unmoved.

I look at most car adverts because I like good looking cars, but this advert, in my opinion, is total crap.

There 3 or 4 adverts around (take a look at youtube they are on there) but am yet to see one of tv (probably coz i dont watch much telly) Rolling Eyes

i think that advert is crap the photo one was far better as it was real life action of what you could do in a freelander 2 Thumbs Up

I didn't like the fact that the photo ad was a stolen idea either though.

My friend who I converted to the marque simply liked the tag-line "why get a car when you can get a land rover?"

That's exactly the impression it left on me - now the big question: Are those demographics (W&G enthusiasts) compliant with the FL2 world or prefer the Austin A40 valvular. The proof in the vaudeville effectiveness would be if there were a dramatic sharp improvement in UK sales volumes during the life of this campaign.
