I know only a small number of members go off road, but is there any difference, between the old/new fl2,cant seem to find ground clearence,in the lr website,or is it the same ? any different,on underneath protection? I know those front bib things, would not last long

He reckons that there's very little difference at all off road because torque is largely the same between the 2 engines, we were in an SD and I can't say I noticed much variation from my TD.

LR2 uses Haldex IV since 2009. New 11MY has the same haldex as MY10, but rear differential is different. Also new 11MY has a water-cooled turbocharger, which is much less prone to overheating. As for the off-road capability, i agree, its basically the same as MY10. What may help MY11 to be slightly better is new ECU (which is faster) and new TCM module (transmission control).
