Snow Chains

Hi
Not sure if this is the right category...
Can anybody tell me if I will damage anything using snowchains on just the front tyres?
I am looking at the K-Summit Konig/Thule K66 chains for my 235/65R17 tyres.
Thanks

Thanks - going skiing after Christmas and for some many mountain passes it is obligatory to have chains on board. The K-Summit set is expensive (€345) but cheaper than the fine if I get caught without them...
