Small chip should be repairable. I had one repaired on my heated windscreen with no impact on heating elements. Job done by Autoglass at no cost on comprehensive insurance.

I agree, get it repaired and quick. It really doesn't take much for it to become a crack.

Autoglass repairs are good if done asap so as dirt does not get into chip.

We've just had our second windscreen in our focus and that's heated as well.

Get it done quick, because if the crack on an LR car upsets one of the heating elements, then it stops a whole section of the heating elements, not just one of the elements as the autoglass guy told us happens in the focus.

So if you don't have it done quick, and muck and crap disturbs the element if the crack hasn't already, then it's a new windscreen job Shocked

Does that make sense?! Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35
