Put my mudflaps on my car, the fronts sit nice and flush, but the rears have a gap

Anybody else had this problem if so how did you cure it

Thinking removing them and them fitting the side with the double sided sticky foam pads for sticking on number plates

Yes mate i had the very same problem, take the offending mud flap off and then soak it in very hot water for a few minutes. Once it has soffened bend the top part in, or where it is sticking out, your trying to and more bend if you catch my drift ! you might need to do this a few times to get it right, but it sorted mine.

I will give it a go, I might still place a little foam protection as i don't want the plastic flaps rubbing away the paint


PS Keep with your AG HD and forget about Dodo Blue Velet/supernatraul, I think unless wax cars day in and out you won't tell the difference and AG HD will give nearly as much protection  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Thanks might get a small pot of the blue velvet to give it a try

My rear flaps are the same. They all do that it appears. Wonder if a little black silicone sealant clamped until set would do the trick.

I've bought some mudflaps but am still wondering whether to fix them on or not (looks wise can't make my mind up if I like them or not !). Certainly won't be fixing them on if they have a huge gap like that !
P.S. Someones FL2 needs a clean....
