Unexpectedly, the petrol tank is full but the indicator shows that it is half full!
Until the checking of system, as I don't know the clue of indicator
when the reservoir will be empty, do you know if the orange alert
(lamp indicator) of fuel turns on?

Sounds like a faulty sensor.

Light should come on when around 50 miles left but if sensor faulty may not work correctly.

they said software update was needed Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I have read a landrover bullitin about this problem, go to a landrover dealer and tel them about the fault,if your car is still under warranty then it will be repaired for free

I've had this problem once. Don't worry, but for your peace of mind tell to dealers.

Two years ago I had the same problem (indication was empty)
but it has been resolved when I restarted the engine.
