Daylight Driving LED strips

Thinking of fitting these :-

LED Strips.

If I take a straight feed from the front side-lights, will I be bothered with any FET issues, or should it work OK?

Any help greatly appreciated.[img][/img] We Don't Care About Pot Holes !!

It will work just fine.
For your peace of mind, you can test by connecting them in parallel with the side repeaters, which are also FET driven and of the same wattage. The side repeaters are more easily accesible.
Of course, you will ignore the flashing of the side repeaters... Laughing

Where would you put em?
Can't see a place where they would look good on our curvy front.
Also most of these cheap LEDs doesn't work in daytime. Coming from the Audi community I have worked a lot with different OEM and aftermarked LEDs and I have to tell you most of the aftermarked looks like shait.
I think Philips has made a kit that looks quite good, but not sure where you could put them.

The only way that it would look right is if you could copy the RRS/D4 design and have them surrounding the light

Still working on where to fit them, also if they would be bright enough etc.

As the original post said, I'm still at the thinking stage. We Don't Care About Pot Holes !!

For once I agree - if you must fit them go for the Philips version, they look quality.
