cargo nets

anyone got any views on an 'official' LR cargo net - dealer price of £47 versus a non branded one circa £15 - in this instance, do you get what you pay for ?

Not seen the 15 quid one so can't comment...but I have the cargo net for the boot floor and the net for the back of the rear seats. I think 47 quid is alot for some elasticated net and four plastic clips but, hey-ho! I got he Landy ones Sheep Sheep baa, baa. The Landy ones are fine, taught and do the job. The boot floor one holds my briefcase, whilst the seat back one holds my 'on-site' gear, hard hat, jacket, boots etc. When I need the boot space at the w/end, the seat back one is great as i just unclip the four hooks and lift the whole lot out...bit like a hammock Laughing and put it in the garage. Then when I'm done ready for work lift the 'hammock' with contents back into the car Thumbs Up

I had them in my previous car, good to keep my shopping in place

OK so you like the 'taughtness' of the Landy job .... hmmmm. Whistle Whistle

I keep my on 'site gear' in one of those collapsable crates 'cause I'm cheap (£2.99 at B&Q)

Joking apart, those collapsable crates are very useful, they don't slide on the boot floor and they too make it easy to swap stuff in and out of the car (a frequent event with my workhorse / family taxi)

The collapsible crates are good avtur, my missis has then in the Mini....as for the landy comment maybe I mis-spelt it Question Laughing
