2009 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Santorini Black
towing electrics

Could anyone tell me if the 40 amp fuse used in the trailer towing circuit is a PAL or JCASE type please.

Don't know what these types are but having just fitted the LR electrics I can report its not like anything I have seen before - The one in the kit was square abouts 8mm x 8mm with the usual two prongs out the bottom but with a see through window in the top where the fuse wire sits.

Hope this answers your question!!

Ps nothing in the fitting instructions to identify either way - just says 40A. There's always a way forward!

What type was it in the end - might be worthwhile getting a spare if they are not easily findable.
