Has anybody found a good IPOD FM Transmitter that fits well in the front power socket, ie without fouling the gear lever?

I have tried 3 solutions and all seem to have a down side. Latest purchase works really well but is difficult to find the best position without getting in the way of 2nd gear. On the upside, it has excellent reception, virtually no volume loss and the IPOD switches on and off with the ignition (first one with this feature). Also very reasonable. See following link:

I got one for my old ipod mini from www.iworld.co.uk they seem to have quite a few options

Obviousley the ipods can hold more music than a mp3 cd, but with all 6 disc slots full i find there is more than enough

I have iTrip FM transmitter and doesn't work. There are too many interferences. The only real good choice for a very good audio signal is to connect the iPOD directly to the audio system. A relatively cheap and choice is flexibledock:

You can use the posterior power socket and the default aux-in.

Is there a reason you don't want to just wire it to the aux input? Miles better than iTrip etc.
