SLIPPING CLUTCH ON OCCATION

Car back in tomorrow for strip down to investigate slipping clutch. I hope they dont strip it down then cant see a problem and box it all back up again.
THAT WOULD JUST BE A POINTLESS MOVE. One would asume that if there is no visable fault found that all new parts would be fitted and then re boxed up and send old parts off for testing. That would be the most logical move.
Well we will just have to wait and see. I await there next explaination with great expectations Banging Head

Well that realy SUCKS, can you not try and shame them in to replacing them as you wouldnt buy something if you knew it would fail prematurely.
Perhaps you are being too nice when realy you should be a little more hard on them.I know when i had parking sensor trouble i had to realy argue the toss before they sorted it for me, probably just to get me out thier show room full of potential customers.

Just got my fl2 back today. They have said that they have fitted new clutch, well it certainly bits lower to the floor, bloody stalled it on the way out, bit embarrising to say the least. Just found out another thing, the gate lock to stop you putting her in reverse at speed now works, never worked before ever, hopefully now all will be ok Mr. Green Mr. Green

Don't tell me you attempted to go from forward to reverse at speed. Very Happy

Allmost, as before the gate that is suppost to lock "never did" so when you shift stick for 6th gear there was a real chance of going into reverse. But now the lock activates and stops this
