It is all crap. When we built our offices we had the broadband connected up. A blistering 1.5 Meg (Shakes head...) We had loads of problems with it so got BT out to look at it. They are contracted to provide 0.5 Meg. As long as you get that, then you are getting the service that they are bound to offer. If it drops below 0.5 Meg then they are obliged to sort it out. Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. If I'm not back, please read this message again...

When i went to BT originally I was getting 3mbps

when they connected me i got 0.5mbps

After an hour long conversation with a call centre who sounded like he was still eating his chicken korma whilst on the phone and been called "Mr Nick" 30 times... I eventually got a UK call centre who could understand what the problem was and 2 days later 3mbps connection came along

God help us if LR take the customer services to Indian Shocked Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

could you get better speeds from a 3g dongle (if you have a 3g network living in the sticks)

my phone only gets the 3g icon when I visit the places where townies live so I guess that means no 3g in my local area At work
