Yes - My standard HST has the standard Alpine (no Pro Logic?) which does have a bass speaker in the boot floor. The spec says its a 9 speaker system although i have just had a quick look and have only counted 7 obvious, so there might be two more hidden somewhere.

HSE's are Pro Logic with 14 speakers ...where on earth do they put them all <lol>

x1 above sat nav
x2 either side of the dash top
x2 corner of the front doors (Next to the wing mirrors)
x2 on each front door
x4 on each rear door
x2 on either side of the tailgate
And x1 next to the spare wheel (Factory fitted on 2008 model cars didn't do the shaving foam option then !! )

Thanks, there are obviously some empty grills, so i turned the volume up and think that i have found nine speakers on the standard Alpine system. I thought it sounded good, so i would love to hear the quality of the 14 speaker Pro Logic Alpine system.

Not that i listen to quality - just some old 70's & 80's soul/mowtown/disco, FM radio Scotland and save my podcasts for long drives south :o)

IMHO the HST is a beaut. So many people havestopped and asked us which model it is. I think it looks like a baby RR, without all of the crazy problematic suspension stuff.

The HST, with body kit, privacy glass, rear spoiler and shadow chrome 19" wheels etc etc , more than makes up for lack of DAB radio and memory seats.

The sound system, with subwoofer in the boot (which I have turned right off anyway) is awesome anyway.

Rumours that you cannot fit a towbar are not true


The only issue, as far as I'm concerned, is that the HST will not be very clever in serious offroading because the front spoiler is far too low for any deep gullies . That is a serious issue for many.

Which nine of these are used in the Alpine 9 speaker set up? I can only hear sound from 7 speaker grilles.
