March Results from Land Rover

Today the Land Rover UK has delivered the greatest ever monthly volume in the company's history. The market's previous record from 2006 of 10,674 units has been eclipsed. Today we have delivered over 11,000 units for the month of March.

The scale of this achievement is quite remarkable

LR has delivered almost 3% of the total cars registered – 1 in every 35 cars retailed in the UK in March was a Land Rover.

LR have delivered 35% of the Off Road sector - a new Land Rover was registered every 80 seconds during the month.

regards,

James Thumbs Up

Quite incredible especially if you do the maths. 31 daysX24 hoursX60 minutesX60 seconds divided by 80=33480. OK, not even Land Rover dealers are open for 24 hours of the day, so we can assume that the figures relate to an 8 hour working day. AND, they are not open on Sundays, so my maths is wrong.

I'll try to find out, but for us as a dealer it was 26% but we are fairly heavy on RRS where we are. My guess would be 35-40%.

Not surprised really!! As I said in another thread, within the price range, the competitors have very little to compete with the F2. And, as for the Dico it continues to be the best by far in the class!! Thumbs Up

I suppose that means that a 'Good deal' will be much more difficult to find. I am assuming of course that all the LR dealers Nationwide have had good results. I know the one that supplied mine was jolly pleased with the number they were turning out during March. And suggested there was a bit of rivalry from the dealers to secure New V Surprised ehicles. The day I collected my XS,there was two F2's a Disco and two Range Rovers waiting to be collected. Apparently, that was the second batch of the day with two more lots being collected in the afternoon - TATA must be raking it in!!!!
