I placed original SONY GPS holder into cubby hole - adjusted little bit, that my navi unit is sticking out about 7-10mm from cubby hole, but I have access to POWER button, and release button.

Have it slightly proud of dash and angled towards driver, able to switch on/off and opperate release button. Also had bluetooth capability. My new 2010 GS and prefer Garmin Bluetooth to system now fitted to car as standard.

Most Garmin units will switch off when external power is removed. We Don't Care About Pot Holes !! | ||
