40 mph speed limiter cuts in, side windows 'auto tint' as you wont be looking out to check your mirrors anyway. |

I didn't know that happend, I have noticed that Tractors tow knackered old converted trailers loaded with bales hanging over the sides, no brakes no lights and pointless having mirrors unless they are mounted on a scaffolding pole because the loaded trailer is over width or the mirrors are covered in s***. |

Can anyone tell me where the information comes from reference "Gear Changes Adjusted to Sport Mode (Auto)" and how this is indicated on the car information panel as my 57 plate SE does not appear to do this? Also why would you want it do do this if you were only using a small trailer to take rubbish to your local tip. I much prefer to decide when the Sport Mode is required when towing and in 2 years of ownership have not found it neccessary yet, even when in the Scottish and Welsh mountains. If this setting is engaged when the towbar electrics are fitted is there anyway of disenging it? Bill Turner. Life Honorary Member of Wallasey Motor Club. Licenced MSA Radio Operator for 35+ years. I've never noticed it - although my GS auto does hold onto gears for longer when towing cf solo. As far as I can tell from the manual there is no small s near the D indicator (just the word SPORT to the left of it). I'll look out for this 'little s' on Tuesday when I take the 'van for service. |

Pushing the gear selector to the left shows the word 'sport' appear just to the left of the 'D' on the display |

When I plug my light board in for the bike carrier there is no selection of sport mode and since the car doesn't know one trailer plug from another then either mine has a fault or the sport mode is not automatically engaged when towing. |
