HDC SWITCH ILLUMINATION

Quick and easy question......hope so!
Handbook no help / nothing on forum 'search' either.

HDC switch (on gear quadrant) has NO illumination with instrument lights on.
Neither do the little "red car" nor the "yellow" logo in the switch illuminate when HDC is engaged....only the "green" logo in the rev counter illuminates.

Is this correct?
i.e. is it designed to be in "darkness" at night?

It would seem logical, descending steep, nasty, slippery hills at night is not something one would normally expect I guess!?

Thanks guys................ Thumbs Up

Sadly, the button isn't illuminated...
Anyway, when Mud Roots is selected, the HDC will automatically switch on, so I believe that more important is the TR switch to be illuminated.
Still, it's quite big, so as long as you know its possition, its easy to press. Laughing
