Search feature doesn't appear to work

I am new to Freel2.com and have found the forums very informative. However, I am having trouble using the Search feature. No matter what I enter it does not return any topics. I am obviously missing something here. Any help welcomed.

Search is always hit or miss. It's just unfortunate that at times you'd better just looking under the title unless it's really specific.

Search feature

Thanks for your replies. Just as an example if I search for "Auxiliary Heater" or even a common word such as "Wheel" nothing comes up.

Both those examples should yield multiple results - they do for me at least.
There are issues with the search function though:
I started a thread entitled "Friendly Reminder - Keyfobs" but if you search for 'Reminder Keyfobs' and select search all words, it will yield no results. It's as though the thread titles are not searched, which would be rather couter-productive Shocked

Indeed, it searches only inside messages, not on titles. Some boards have the option to select where to search. Titles, Messages or Both.
Now that you posted a message that contains both words, it will find your message. Laughing

Search problem resolved

Problem solved. Sorry to have wasted your time. Silly me. I was using the bottom data entry box (for author) instead of the top one. On my computor the outline on these boxes is quite faint and for some reason didn't notice the top one. Sign of advancing years perhaps.
