Mine tended to vibrate a little and when wet I was concerned that there was not enough grip so bought the rubber bands that were fitted to the earlier Milenco's and they made me feel better and it stopped the vibration, they only cost about 80p each, you may find Nick that they will alieviate any problems with the mirror caps. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

Milenco Aero for me...I have mirror caps, so I clamp them to the underside of the mirror.....If you do this you need to be aware that the towing mirrors will foul the doors when you lock the doors and the main mirrors fold...doesn't cause damage but I tend to remove them if I park up. |

I use Reich Towing Mirror, the Excellent View model. Once fitted they are absolutely rock solid, never move or slip. They don't impede the mirror glass movement or when the mirrors fold in. Also once set up initially, they always go back in the same place, so no further adjustment. The Glass can go vertically (my preference) or horzontally, and are available in flat or convex glass. They come with normal and long straps, so they fit any car and have suckers built into the straps to provide extra grip. |

I have the Milenco Aero and find them perfect for the van. However Npinks recommended that the arm be bent slightly to allow it to follow the angle of the mirror caseing. This made sure that the clamps were a more snug fit on the door mirror plastic. I bent mine in a vice with some wooden protectors against the steel jaws. You will not need any rubber bands then.
