My push button one is clipped onto the driver's visor - cost nothing and came with the garage door opener |

Didn't they have it already. I remember there was a users manual insert on ownerinfo.landrover.com for that thingy for 2010 manuals. |

I simply nailed the garage door in the up position, I drive in and out no probs |

I only paid £180 for the garage door opeanor and it came with two key fobs. Each keyfob has three keys and extra keys can be programmed to open two more gurage doors as well (same make)

my door is the up and over type, not ideal for electric convertions, especially when the cables and tracks are all worn. I had nail it up as on windy days it used to lower itself as you drove in. one time it blew down onto Mrs G's head |

CG is obviously a posher farmer, when I was a young'n a couple of years back we had to use bale twine, nails were to expensive for us. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

CG, mine is also up and over type and used the following with the electric opener, It converts the pull of the motor in to up and over motion. Works well.

Useful for gates but for garage door, I prefer to manually choose. Many times I just pull up outside but not actually wanting to park in the garage. Phil |
