207/2's, I only have a "stereo" sound setup but it suits me Whistle

They are the 207 mark 2 they have no hyper tweeter and yes they are UK made in Maidstone.

I also have a pair of KEF XQ 5's that are made in China but they are a fantastic pair of speakers and are equipped with the reference hyper tweeters that add a nice difference to the reproduction of ultra high sounds.

My first "real" speakers were KEF 104.2, they illuminated the path to true hi-fi enlightenment.

Hells Bells -Those Maidstone's are real serious kit indeed, infact I have often seen them & all of the Kef range up close as I have valeted the guys cars at the Kef factory in Maidstone. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Roger that, I love UK Hi-Fi sound, Kef and Cyrus all the way, no MP3's or SE cd's just good quality with good stereo imaging, balance and authority.

100% agree. I have no MP3, i-pod or any of this new nonsense, just as you cd & all my old vinyl from the 70's & 80's. In fact I still have all my casette tapes too!! New stuff tends to be gimmicky like new mobile phones (don't get me started on them) but older things tend to do the job better! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
